- Richard Nickels 51lb 9oz
- Mark Baker 47lb 6oz
- Pete Marston 44lb 6oz
An overnight frost made the fishing harder than expected for the 16 anglers who took part in this match.
Richard Nickels drew peg 13 and it proved to be a lucky number as he claimed his second match win in a row, fishing pellet waggler and pellet bomb into open water. Mark Baker was next door on peg 12 and caught carp on the method feeder to the island, long pole, pinging 6mm pellet and short, fishing prawn on the hook.
It was a tight call for 3rd spot, with Pete edging out Ian Farrow by just 7oz. Although Nick Martin had to settle for 9th place, he was rewarded with a good barbel weighing 4lb 12oz.
Everyone weighed in, returning an average weight of 22lb 10oz per angler.
